There are six branch libraries in Victoria, Australia, and associated libraries in Indonesia and Malaysia. The collection at each branch supports the faculties present on the campus it serves.Every branch is equipped with computer workstations, photocopying, scanning and printing facilities, and group and private study areas to facilitate access to, and use of, the collection.

Our services make a critical contribution to the achievement of Monash's education and research strategies. The Library is a leader in the development of research skills. We collaborate with academic staff to embed the Research Skill Development (RSD) Framework across the faculties and to adopt it as the backbone of the Monash Passport. We contribute to blended learning and the implementation of a virtual learning environment.
We build outstanding collections for research and provide leadership in scholarly communications by improving research data management and capturing, disseminating and promoting Monash's research output through the Research Repository and Monash University Publishing.
